At Designz3D, we’ve always believed in delivering high-quality products, consistent results, and dependable service—without cutting corners. For as long as possible, we absorbed rising costs behind the scenes to keep our pricing stable for our customers.

But today, we want to be transparent with you.

We’ve reached a point where maintaining our standards without adjusting prices is no longer sustainable.

What’s Changed?

Over the past year, we’ve seen significant increases across multiple areas that directly impact our operations:

• Energy Costs: Running a fleet of high-performance 3D printers 24/7 requires substantial power. With energy prices continuing to rise, our baseline operating costs have increased dramatically.
• Raw Material Prices: The cost of quality filament and materials has gone up year over year. We refuse to switch to lower-grade materials that could compromise durability or finish.
• Wear & Tear on Equipment: High-volume production means more maintenance, more part replacements, and more investment into keeping our machines operating at peak performance.
• Rising Labor Costs: We proudly support U.S.-based labor. As wages increase (as they should), we remain committed to fairly compensating the people who help make Designz3D what it is.

Why We Didn’t Cut Corners Instead

We had a choice:

• Lower quality to maintain price
• Or maintain quality and adjust pricing

For us, that wasn’t really a choice.

Designz3D was built on quality, consistency, and trust. Reducing infill, switching to cheaper materials, or rushing production would go against everything we stand for. Our customers rely on our products to perform—and we take that seriously.
