What happened?

Two critical vulnerabilities were discovered within PHP:

CVE-2026-109618 CVE-2026-109619

The vulnerabilities involved weaknesses in PHP's handling of memory conditions and internal request processing. Under certain circumstances, attackers could potentially exploit these weaknesses to execute unauthorized code on affected servers.

Due to their severity, technology providers and cybersecurity organizations recommended immediate remediation. Official security updates were released on October 21, 2026, allowing organizations to address the affected software.

Designz3D's proactive response

Several days before the vulnerabilities received widespread media attention, Designz3D was already monitoring the developing security concerns. Our technology team began assessing our infrastructure, reviewing potential exposure, and preparing to implement the necessary security updates once they became available.

When the patches were released, our team took immediate action to update affected systems and verify their continued operation. Our response included:

1

Review

Reviewed systems and applications potentially affected by the vulnerabilities.

2

Patch

Applied relevant security patches as they became available.

3

Validate

Validated updates and reviewed existing security protections.

4

Monitor

Monitored critical services to ensure continued availability.

Through early preparation and a coordinated response, Designz3D maintained operational uptime without a security-related service interruption.

What this means for our customers

We want to reassure our customers and business partners that our primary online storefront operates on Shopify, which was not directly affected by these PHP vulnerabilities. Shopify provides the foundation for our primary online shopping and checkout experience.

However, Designz3D also develops and maintains independent technologies that support our growing range of products, services, and business solutions. Some of these supporting technologies relied on affected PHP components and required security updates. Our team prioritized addressing these systems while maintaining the availability of our services.

The bottom line: Our online storefront remained operational, and our response did not require an interruption to our services.

Why we're sharing this

Cybersecurity transparency shouldn't begin only when something goes wrong.

As Designz3D continues expanding its customized products, corporate services, and technology solutions, we believe our customers and partners deserve to understand how we approach security and operational reliability.

We recognize that vulnerabilities are an unavoidable reality of modern technology. What matters is how organizations prepare for them, respond to them, and continuously improve their security practices. For Designz3D, that means taking a proactive approach rather than waiting for problems to occur.

We believe communicating these efforts is an important part of maintaining the trust we've built with our customers, partners, and longtime supporters.

Our continued commitment

As our company grows, so does our commitment to maintaining secure, reliable, and resilient technology. We will continue investing in:

Security monitoring
Infrastructure maintenance
Timely software updates
Preventive safeguards

The October 2026 PHP vulnerabilities serve as an important reminder that even widely trusted technologies can require urgent security attention.

Our commitment remains the same: identify risks early, respond quickly, maintain reliable services, and protect the trust our customers place in us.

To our customers, business partners, and longtime friends, thank you for your continued support and confidence in Designz3D.
