Before Designz3D existed, there was a moment in my life that shaped everything I am today — as a person, a creator, and a business owner.

Many years ago, early in my career, I worked in an environment where I wasn’t treated fairly.
I spoke up about something that was wrong, and instead of fixing the issue, leadership retaliated against me.
My hours were changed as punishment.
I was talked down to.
I was intimidated.
I was made to feel small.
I was young.
I didn’t have experience.
I didn’t have confidence.
I didn’t have a voice yet.
But even then, something inside me said:
“This isn’t right.”

I’ll never forget the moment I walked into a senior leader’s office.
I was nervous — actually shaking — but I still said:

On my way out, I filed a formal complaint.
Not for myself — because I was already leaving —
but so no one after me would experience what I went through.
It wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t convenient.
But it was the right thing to do.
That decision closed a chapter,
and it opened a brand new one I never expected.

After leaving that toxic environment, something shifted.
My confidence grew.
Doors opened.
My career took off.
And eventually…
